Representation of the monument in Basel, which was donated in gratitude for Swiss support to the heavily shelled city of Strasbourg. The group of figures represents a winged genius leading the costume-wearing Alsatia, the allegory of Alsace, accompanied by a crying child to Helvetia, the allegory of Switzerland.
