Multiple scratches on the observe in front of the portrait, probably due to cleaning. Behind it, a cross, possibly graffiti. Cleaning has given the fields an artificial lustrous appearance. Remains of soil are visible on the reverse in the interstices of the engravings. Almost uncirculated AU 55-58
Rare bust. A Solidus of superb quality! Remarkable engraving, very delicate giving superb representations. The shield with the horseman are clearly visible and the clothes are engraved with great precision. A magnificent specimen.
