Byzantine Empire. Theodosius II, 402-450. Tremissis, Constantinople. Gold 1.54 g.; 15 mm.
Obverse: Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Theodosius to right. Obverse caption: D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG //
Reverse: Victory walking right, her head turned to left, holding wreath in her right hand and globus cruciger in her left; in field to right, star. Reverse caption: VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM / CONOB

Very nice Tremissis, well centred but struck on a slightly oval flan. One will note only the presence of a small graffito in the shape of X on the obverse, in the left field. Almost uncirculated AU 55-58
