Italy. Calabria. Tarentum. AR Nomos ca. 281-276 BC, 6.44 gr., 19.8 mm.
Obverse: nude youth riding a horse prancing to right, raising right hand to crown the horse's head, [Nike flying behind, crowning youth]; beneath horse: ΛY, below raised foreleg: OE //
Reverse. ΤΑΡΑΣ; Phalanthos holding a kantharos in his outstretched right hand and a trident in hisleft, riding a dolphin swimming to the left.
