Extremely fine EF 40-45
Very fine specimen of an Octodrachm (or Mnaieon) struck by Ptolemy IV for his father posthumously, the deified Ptolemy III. He is portrayed in an idealised portrait with the physical characteristics typical of the Lagid dynasty, and represented with the attributes of Poseidon, Helios and Athena, gods often associated in Hellenism.
