Egypt. Ptolemaic Kings. Ptolemy I “Soter” as satrap or king. AR Tetradrachm, Alexandria ca. 306-300 BC struck in the name of Alexander III., 15.65 gr., 28 mm.
Obverse: diademed head of Alexander III to the right, wearing elephant skin headdress //
Reverse: ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ; Athena Promachosvancing to the right, brandishing spear and holding shield; in right field: monogram and eagle.
