Roman Republic. L. Papius Celsus. AR Denarius 45 BC, Rome, 3.7 gr., 17.4 mm.
Obverse: head of Juno Sospita to the right, wearing goat skin headdress tied at neck; all within a border of dots // Reverse: CELSUS•III•VIR; she-wolf standing to the right, placing stick on fire; on the right, eagle standing to the left, fanning the flames; in exergue L•PAPIUS.
