Roman Republic. Julius Caesar. AR-Denarius (21 mm, 4.04 g). Military mint travelling with Caesar in Spain, 46-45 BC.
Obverse: Head of Venus to right, wearing stephane; Cupid behind shoulder //
Reverse: Trophy of Gallic arms between two seated captives: female seated to left resting head in right hand, and bearded male seated to right with hands tied behind back, looking to left; CAESAR in exergue.

A nice specimen with a lovely portrait. Old collection tone, some scratches under the tone, otherwise almost EF.
