A beautiful specimen of an extremely rare 1/4 Écu. With a beautiful cabinet patina, this example has remained in very good condition despite its visible circulation wear. Almost uncirculated AU 50-53

This example has remained in very good condition despite its visible circulation wear. The last one was seen at auction in 2018 and this example is one of an extremely small number known: less than 10 have been seen. It is an extremely prized coin in collections because of its rarity!
