Denarius in the effigy of Nero Claudius Drusus struck by Claudius. It was part of a series of issues organised by Claudius to honour the military triumphs of his father, brother of Tiberius, against the Germanic tribes on the Rhine, as represented by the typically Celtic/Germanic oblong shields.
