Magnificent and extremely rare specimen of Solidus! Remarkable quality, on a very wide flan! It is very rare for Solidi to be on such a wide flan. There are a few weaknesses of striking, particularly in the grenetis surrounding the portrait. Traces of cleaning on the flan. Traces of circulation are visible on the portrait, much less on the reverse which is in an excellent state of conservation.
NGC graded AU Strike 5/5, Surface 4/5; edge bend.
